Trouble adding avatars to chat

Trouble adding avatars to chat

Hi. I am trying to add some avatars to the chat application, but the chat just shows them as a red X. I followed the instructions, named them properly, and put them in the correct folder, but they don't work.

When I right-click the red X and try to view that path in the browser, I get an error: avatar not found, as you can see here:

However, if I load the image directly, it shows up fine:

http://206.196.26.106/Fan51_Chat/CuteSoft_Server/CuteChat/Avatars/managers_blue.gif

What do I have to do to get the chat app to recognize that the image is there?

Strange. It was failing until just now. Do you know if there's anything that needs to happen for the app to see new avatars? Does the web service need to be restarted, etc?

Chad,

You need to restart the web application to make it take effect.

Otherwise the CuteChat always using the informations in the cache for the performance purpose....
